Quilters' Tile - Blue and Wooly
8" x 8"

After working on a larger quilt, it was fun to get back to a small project. This tile had been started a few weeks ago and you can see its beginnings at this earlier post.
Beads were added.
And more beads created a new shape.
Hand stitching emphasized the shape.
It was a delight to see where the stitching took me.
After adding the binding, I rotated the piece in my hands. Which way was up? Would it matter? Could abstract art be viewed from multiple angles?
Which way would you choose?
Very nice! I turned my laptop every which way and I decided I like it best with the brown on the right side. I think it looks like a funny face with a big smile.
ReplyDeleteI turned my lap top around too - LOL - and I kinda like the brown on the bottom - sorta like land and sky or beach and sea.
ReplyDeleteYes, I had a hard time deciding which was the top. As you did, I liked it both ways. But turning your computer around, how clever, it sure beats standing on your head in front of the desktop computer screen!!!
