If your studio windows are covering up with snow,
and your birds are walking up to the feeder instead of flying in,
then this is the time to revive your spirit and draw inspiration from the
Winter's Garden Show
at the Riverfront Arts Center in Stevens Point, WI.
This exhibit features floral and botanical art
and fresh blooming orchids.
I'm proud to have artwork in the show.
The orchids are for sale so you can bring your favorite home with you.
Oh yes, the artwork, too!

Love the orchids and love your rose quilt! Don't love all that snow...
ReplyDeletebirds walking up to the feeder, so funny. Bet you are getting cabin fever about now.
ReplyDeleteKeep your eyes on the flowers of Spring a comin' Your house what I can see of it looks so inviting. I love a wooden house. We live in a cedar home and woodpeckers take a run at it periodically. LeeAnna Paylor

Thanks for your comments. The artwork at the show is fabulous and the orchids certainly set it off.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you can stand this particular winter. Hang in there. Your quilt is lovely. I love that type of appliqué.
ReplyDeleteHi, Sharon. One of the advantages of living in Tunisia (and in places like Florida, I imagine) is the early spring. I'm not envying your snow but the 4-rose piece is a knock-out!
ReplyDeletebest, nadia
Thank you. The Rose of Sharon quilt started off with a traditional block and then slowly changed in each of the four blocks. The name is "Free, At Last", enjoying the freedom of an art quilter.
