Just wrap a cord around a bundle of fabric.
Call it a grab bag and I am there.
It doesn't matter if I can see the fabrics or they are hidden in a brown paper bag.
I can't resist the adventure of scheming and dreaming of what I can make out of these random pieces.
With its vibrant colors and happy patterns, this purchase was a no-brainer for me.
I can't wait to see where these fabrics will lead me.
Perhaps I will stitch them together into a pillow, such as this one that brightens my day every time I look at it. My granddaughter loves it too, so in my mind I see her smiling face.
A double treasure!
What brightens your day?
I hope you find it.

A very happy pillow! It is fun to try and put together random fabrics into one quilt.
ReplyDeleteWhat brightens my day is when my muse taps me on the shoulder and provides me with a most unexpected lightbulb moment. This can happen when I going to my stash to find the perfect fabric to solve a creative problem and am thinking one thing, only to have my eyes land on a fabric I never I would have thought of and that is IT. My muse often wakes me up in the morning, joins me when exercising or hangs out in the mirror when I brush my teeth. Whenever she surprises me, I am delighted.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I am so often distracted (?) by other fabric in my stash when I am frantically searching for the perfect fabric. How can one only be working on one project at a time or only following one thought pattern?
